Andersen Royal Shopper Plus — Lasse Bag
When the Royal isn't wide enough. The Royal Shopper Plus takes the Royal's proven aluminium chassis and widens the track to 58 cm — Andersen's widest — paired here with the Lasse. 50 kg load capacity, two ball-bearing wheel options, and the same Type 1 Adaptor Bike n Easy compatibility. The Plus is what you choose when the regular Royal feels tippy under awkward loads.

Compatibility
Choose the Royal Plus over the standard Royal when load stability matters more than compactness. The wider 58 cm track is noticeably steadier on cambered pavements and rougher ground. It's a fraction wider to manoeuvre through tight spaces — narrow supermarket aisles or revolving doors may need a bit more thought. Bike towing via the Type 1 Adaptor.
Attaching to a bicycle
This Shopper is compatible with Andersen's Bike n Easy attachment system, which lets you switch between pulling on foot and towing behind a bicycle in a few seconds.
Two components are needed: an adaptor on the Shopper (this frame takes the Type 1 Adaptor) and a coupling unit on the bicycle. The bike-side coupling depends on your bicycle's geometry:
Pull Easy — bikes with a rear luggage carrier
Easy Snap — alternative for rear-carrier bikes
Big Easy — bikes without a rear rack (mounts to seat strut)

Fitting & installation
The Andersen frame arrives fully assembled. The bag clicks onto the frame using the HängFix system (on Royal, Royal Plus, and Unus frames) or attaches via integrated straps (on Scala, Komfort, and Tura). Both are tool-free.

How does the Lasse compare to the Hydro 3.0 on the same frames?
Similar capacity (59L vs 62L) on the same frames. The Hydro 3.0 adds waterproof construction, an 8L thermal compartment, and backpack mode for almost twice the bag weight (1.5 kg vs 1.0 kg). The Lasse keeps it simple and saves 0.5 kg of empty trolley weight. Choose the Hydro if you need weather or thermal performance; choose the Lasse if you don't.
Why is the Lasse only on the larger frames?
The 40 cm width and 63 cm height are sized for the Royal Plus's 58 cm and the Tura's 55 cm track widths. On a Royal (50 cm) or Scala (45 cm) the bag would overhang the chassis. Andersen's frame-specific bag sizing prevents mismatches.
When should I choose the Royal Plus over the standard Royal?
Choose Plus if you regularly carry loads that shift (bottles, awkward boxes, pet supplies) or if you've found the standard Royal tippy on cambered pavements. Stick with the standard Royal if you want the broader wheel choice (six options versus two) or need to fit through narrower spaces.
Why does the Royal Plus only have two wheel options?
The Plus is positioned as the heavy-duty stability variant, so Andersen restricts it to the two most popular ball-bearing 25 cm wheels — whisper for noise-sensitive routes, pneumatic for rough ground. If you need the Double-Spoke, Metal-Spoke or 29 cm options, go with the standard Royal.
Hitch A Bike Expert Note
The Lasse fills a specific gap on the Royal Plus and Tura — high capacity (59 litres beats most mid-range bags by 10+ litres) without the weight cost of the Hydro 3.0's feature stack. If you load heavy but shop in fair weather, this is the right balance. The Red and Blue colour options are bright enough to be visible roadside, which combined with the reflective trim makes it a decent commuting choice for users who tow.

We offer Free Shipping on all our products over £49 for the UK mainland.
We do our best to have your order shipped within 2 (two) to 5 (five) business days from the date of your order. Please note some of our products are custom made or sourced from mainland Europe and some delivery times frames may be between 5 (five) and 21 (twenty-one) business days. Shipping times will be accurately displayed at checkout. We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out.
We endeavor to have your order delivered in the shortest amount of time possible. Express delivery for the next day or within 48 hours is available in certain instances at an extra cost. Please email support@hitchabike.co.uk for an accurate quote.
If, due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, a product becomes out of stock after an order has been placed, the customer will be notified by email and given an option to cancel the order and receive a full refund.
The customer should be aware that if an order consists of more than one product, these products may be delivered separately. In these cases, the customer will accept part delivery of an order.
Order confirmation
When we receive your order, we provide you with a confirmation to your email.
In addition, when you receive your order confirmation we have pre-authorised your payment method. We check with our warehouse or suppliers to make sure that your desired item is available and can be despatched.
In the event that your items are unavailable for immediate despatch, we remove the pre-authorisation from your credit card and send you an email informing you of our actions.
When items are available to be dispatched, we process the charges and prepare to despatch your order.
Please note if an order consists of more than one product, these products may be delivered separately as soon as they become available.
Redirections & Safe Spaces
Please be careful if nominating a safe space with with courier. Please ensure the area chose is safe and secure. We will not accept liability for items stolen if this method of delivery has been selected by the customer.
Where does Hitch A Bike deliver?
We deliver to all of the UK. Deliveries to Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland and UK offshore islands may take an additional day to arrive.
RETURNS
Cancellations & Refunds
If your order has been shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order. The refund will be issued to the customer within 14 days of receipt of the product. Refunds on returns will only be accepted if the customer returns the product in its original packaging, unused, with all labels intact and any documentation that comes with the item.
Please note some of our featured products are shipped from various countries in the EU. These items have limited return policies. In some cases, an item may only be returned if it was received in a damaged condition. You (the buyer) will incur all costs related to the return shipping of these items.
If you have ordered an incorrect-sized item then please contact us as soon as possible and we can amend the product size for you before the item is dispatched.
