Hitch A Bike is a UK-based specialist retailer of bike trailers, cargo bikes, and cycling transport gear. We sell the kit we'd actually use ourselves.
We're not a big-box sports shop. We're not a generic outdoor brand. Why we started
Most cyclists who go looking for a trailer end up in the same place — three browser tabs deep, comparing similar-looking products with vague descriptions, copy-pasted from manufacturer sites, with no one explaining what actually matters.
Hitch A Bike exists because that's a bad way to spend £400. We are founder-led, and deliberately product-first: our focus is on giving customers practical, honest guidance before they buy. That means checking bike compatibility, explaining rear axle types, helping with e-bike fitment, and only working with brands we are confident supporting after the sale.
Our team works closely with trusted trailer and accessory brands including Croozer, Burley, Hamax, DoggyTourer, Andersen Shopper and Robert Axle Project to help customers choose the right setup for their bike, family, dog or cargo needs.
We started in 2022 to give people doing real research a better option: a UK specialist who knows the products well enough to help you find the right one and explain why.
