This is Croozer's push handlebar with a built-in sensor-activated lighting system for two-seater Kid trailers. Two light elements sit on the bar and switch themselves on when the sensor picks up low light, so you don't have to remember to click anything before the school run home in December.

The lithium-ion battery gives up to 15 hours of light per full charge and takes up to 1,000 recharge cycles over its life. A USB cable is in the box. The handlebar is the two-seater width — fits Croozer Kid two-seaters from 2008 (Kid, Kid Plus, Keeke). Kid trailers built between 2016 and 2019 already ship with the sensor handlebar fitted.

Not compatible with the Yuuna or Lykke chassis.

If you already own a Croozer Kid two-seater from 2016 to 2019, check the handlebar you have — the sensor system was standard in those years, so you may only need the Sensor light for handlebar (article 122110022) as a battery-and-lights replacement, not a full handlebar swap.

Fits Croozer Kid two-seaters manufactured in or after 2008 — Kid, Kid Plus and Keeke. 2016 to 2019 Kid two-seaters shipped with this handlebar as standard. Does not fit the Croozer Yuuna modular trailer, the Kid Lykke, or single-seater Kid trailers (use the Kid 1 version instead).

FAQ

Does it fit a Croozer Yuuna?

No — the Yuuna and Lykke chassis use a different handlebar. This one is Kid two-seater only.

How do the lights come on?

A sensor on each light element reads ambient light and switches on when it's dark enough. No button to press before you set off.

How long does the battery last?

Up to 15 hours per full charge. USB charging via the included cable.

Do I need this if I have a 2016-2019 Kid?

Probably not — that handlebar already has the sensor system. You may only need the Sensor light for handlebar (article 122110022) as a light-and-battery replacement.

Is this the same as the Kid 1 handlebar?

No — that's for one-seater Kid trailers (article 122100018). The bar width is different.

We offer Free Shipping on all our products over £49 for the UK mainland.

 We do our best to have your order shipped within 2 (two) to 5 (five) business days from the date of your order. Please note some of our products are custom made or sourced from mainland Europe and some delivery times frames may be between 5 (five) and 21 (twenty-one) business days. Shipping times will be accurately displayed at checkout. We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out.

We endeavor to have your order delivered in the shortest amount of time possible. Express delivery for the next day or within 48 hours is available in certain instances at an extra cost. Please email support@hitchabike.co.uk for an accurate quote.

If, due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, a product becomes out of stock after an order has been placed, the customer will be notified by email and given an option to cancel the order and receive a full refund.

The customer should be aware that if an order consists of more than one product, these products may be delivered separately. In these cases, the customer will accept part delivery of an order.

 

Order confirmation

When we receive your order, we provide you with a confirmation to your email.

In addition, when you receive your order confirmation we have pre-authorised your payment method. We check with our warehouse or suppliers to make sure that your desired item is available and can be despatched.

In the event that your items are unavailable for immediate despatch, we remove the pre-authorisation from your credit card and send you an email informing you of our actions.

When items are available to be dispatched, we process the charges and prepare to despatch your order.

Please note if an order consists of more than one product, these products may be delivered separately as soon as they become available.

Please be careful if nominating a safe space with with courier. Please ensure the area chose is safe and secure. We will not accept liability for items stolen if this method of delivery has been selected by the customer.

We deliver to all of the UK. Deliveries to Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland and UK offshore islands may take an additional day to arrive.

RETURNS

Cancellations & Refunds

  

Should you wish to return or cancel a product, you (the buyer) should first email us at support@hitchabike.co.uk stating the order number and reason for return. You will then be provided with the correct physical return address. You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the order.

If your order has been shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order. The refund will be issued to the customer within 14 days of receipt of the product. Refunds on returns will only be accepted if the customer returns the product in its original packaging, unused, with all labels intact and any documentation that comes with the item.

Please note some of our featured products are shipped from various countries in the EU. These items have limited return policies. In some cases, an item may only be returned if it was received in a damaged condition. You (the buyer) will incur all costs related to the return shipping of these items.
You (the buyer) will be responsible for the safe return of any product as well as to ensure the correct postal insurance to cover the value of the product. A refund will not be issued for a product that does not reach the correct delivery address.

If you have ordered an incorrect-sized item then please contact us as soon as possible and we can amend the product size for you before the item is dispatched.

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery. If your item(s) do arrive damaged, please send photos to support@hitchabike.co.uk and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf. Kindly note if you would like to process any claims post-delivery on faulty products, we will be happy to assist. We will require protocol evidence in the form of photos and video demonstrating the fault which may include product details.
