Andersen Royal Shopper — Senta 2.0 Bag
When the weekly shop is heavy, the pavements are uneven, and the route home involves kerbs and gravel — a normal shopping trolley gives up. The Royal Shopper is Andersen's flagship: an aluminium-framed chassis paired here with the Senta 2.0. Six wheel options let you tune it to your terrain — pneumatic for rough ground, whisper wheels for noise-sensitive use, double-spoke for hard-wearing daily duty. Bike-tow ready with the Type 1 Adaptor.

Compatibility
The Royal works as both a pull-along shopper and a bicycle trailer via Andersen Bike n Easy. Best for: weekly shops with mixed terrain, users who regularly bike to the shops, any route involving kerbs, cobbles, or unmade paths. The 29 cm pneumatic wheels are the closest match to traditional bike-trailer comfort if you'll be towing frequently. Not ideal for: very small storage spaces — the larger wheel options take more room than the Scala or Unus.
Attaching to a bicycle
This Shopper is compatible with Andersen's Bike n Easy attachment system, which lets you switch between pulling on foot and towing behind a bicycle in a few seconds.
Two components are needed: an adaptor on the Shopper (this frame takes the Type 1 Adaptor) and a coupling unit on the bicycle. The bike-side coupling depends on your bicycle's geometry:
Pull Easy — bikes with a rear luggage carrier
Easy Snap — alternative for rear-carrier bikes
Big Easy — bikes without a rear rack (mounts to seat strut)
The full breakdown with fitting guides and videos is on the Andersen Bike n Easy attachment guide.
Fitting & installation
The Andersen frame arrives fully assembled. The bag clicks onto the frame using the HängFix system (on Royal, Royal Plus, and Unus frames) or attaches via integrated straps (on Scala, Komfort, and Tura). Both are tool-free.
For bicycle attachment, see Compatibility above and the Andersen Bike n Easy guide for the full fitting walk-through, including PDFs and video tutorials per coupling. The Royal Shopper user manual is available to download on this page.

FAQs
What's the practical difference between Senta 2.0 and Lisa (both 49L)?
Capacity is identical. Senta has a more boxy silhouette with squarer corners — fits rigid items like flatpack boxes or stacked containers better. Lisa is more rounded — better for soft loose loads like loaves and produce.
Which wheel option should I choose for the Royal Shopper?
For pavement-only use, the Ø 25 cm Double-Spoke Whisper Wheel is the cheapest option and rolls quietly. For mixed terrain including kerbs and gravel, the Ø 29 cm Ball-Bearing Pneumatic Wheel handles the roughest ground but is the most expensive option. The Ø 25 cm Ball-Bearing Whisper Wheel is the middle-ground compromise most customers settle on.
Can I use the Royal Shopper as a bike trailer?
Yes, with the Andersen Bike n Easy system. The Royal takes the Type 1 Adaptor on the trolley side, paired with one of three bike-side couplings depending on your bicycle's geometry. The 25 cm or 29 cm pneumatic wheels are recommended for towing — solid wheels work but transmit more road vibration to the contents. Keep towing speed to walking-pace cycling (around 10 mph).
Hitch A Bike Expert Note
The Senta 2.0's squarer construction is the under-the-radar feature here. Most Andersen bags taper at the corners; the Senta's straighter sides mean you can pack rigid items right to the edges without wasting space. If you shop at warehouses or buy a lot of boxed goods, this is the bag. For loose groceries, the rounded bags carry similar volume more comfortably.
