The Qeridoo Kidgoo 1 (2026) is Qeridoo's single-seater child bike trailer, in Forest Green. Built around a reinforced aluminium frame with an underride guard, patented head protectors with reflector strips, side and rear impact protection, and a comfort seat system with integrated back protectors.
The 2026 model raised the maximum child weight to 22 kg per child. Harness is the easy-ARS adaptive 5-point system that grows with the child. The 3-in-1 cover (insect / sun / rain) uses magnetic FIDLOCK closures for one-hand swaps, and the 360° ventilation system with manual climate control keeps the cabin comfortable in summer heat.
Rated for 20 km/h straight, 7 km/h through corners. Compatible with 25″–29″ bikes and pedelecs; 20″-bike hitch arm is a Qeridoo accessory. Certified to EN 15918:2011+A2:2017, EN 1888-1:2018+A1:2022. Pollutant-tested.

Pro tip
Fit the safety pennant before the first ride — UK law expects it in trailer mode and it's the visual cue drivers pick up in traffic. Set the easy-ARS harness to your child's actual shoulder height, not the highest slot: the 5-point system only does its job when the top strap sits at or just below the shoulder. Check the FIDLOCK cover closures before every ride; they're magnetic-assisted but still need to be seated.

Will it fit
Fits any standard 25″–29″ rear-wheeled bike using the supplied hitch arm. A 20″-bike hitch arm is a separate Qeridoo accessory.
Not compatible with bikes over pedelec / e-bike class (25 km/h assistance limit). Top speed cap on the trailer is 20 km/h straight, 7 km/h through corners.

How does the 2026 model differ from the FIDLOCK Edition (2024)?
The 2026 raised max child weight from 18 kg to 22 kg per child, and updated harness / cover integrations. The 2024 FIDLOCK Edition (/products/qeridoo-kidgoo-1-fidlock-orange) is still current stock at Qeridoo but caps at 18 kg per child.
How does it differ from the Kidgoo 2?
