Frequently asked questions
Who owns the cargo e-bike or cargo bike trailer?
During the hire period, your employer (or their scheme provider) technically owns the it. At the end, you can usually extend the hire, return it, or pay a fair market value to own it.

Yes! Cargo e-bikes or cargo bike trailers are eligible if they meet UK EAPC rules (up to 250W motor, assistance up to 15.5mph, pedals required).
Is there a spending limit?
Your employer sets the limit. Many choose £1,000-£2,500; some providers offer higher or no limits. Ask your HR team or provider for your allowance.
What can I include?
The bike and essential commuting accessories (helmet, lock, lights, mudguards, pannier rack/bags). Clothing, car racks, turbo trainers and non-cycling items are usually excluded.
How long does approval take?
It varies by employer/provider. We can issue quotes instantly; voucher approvals commonly take a few days once your HR authorises them.
Do I have to commute every day?
No - the bike should be used mainly for commuting or work trips, but leisure riding is usually fine too.
