The recently upgraded Y Large is a multifunctional, elegant and versatile trailer platform with loads of new features.

The Carry Freedom Y Large cargo bike trailer combines premium engineering with versatile functionality. This multifunctional platform accommodates boxes, backpacks, dog baskets, groceries, and garden centre hauls with ease. The frame features advanced IGUS plastic plain bearings—self-lubricating, maintenance-free, and chemically resistant—delivering superior performance and durability.

These engineered bearings are seven times lighter than metal alternatives, withstand extreme temperatures, and prevent wheel axle seizing from corrosion or moisture. The Lollypop elastomer hitch requires just 4mm rear axle clearance, making it compatible with most bicycles.

Built from 6064T6 anodised aluminium with a weatherproof plywood load bed, the Y Large handles 90 kg payload while weighing only 8.5 kg unfolded. Quick-release 20" pneumatic wheels with reflective strips ensure safety and portability. Includes flag, light holder, hitch bracket, and quick-release box kit with rubber feet and velcro straps for seamless loading and unloading.
