Featuring ball-bearing whisper wheels and high-grade aluminium construction, the Royal Shopper is exceptionally quiet and lightweight with a tare weight of 2.5kg. Designed with a compatible Bike&Easy coupling system, this shopping trolley can be attached to most standard bicycles. Boasting an impressive load capacity of 50kg, it can easily manage heavy items, and for eye-catching style, it pairs perfectly with the Basil Bloom bag (hand-painted all-over flower print).

Bike & Easy

Increasingly, bikes are being chosen over cars for everyday transportation, as many recognize them as a functional way to travel for both work and shopping. This move away from vehicles is a common theme in urban areas, but it is also becoming more prevalent in rural areas as bikes and e-bikes are replacing cars, creating a more livable environment.

For two decades, we have enabled a more eco-friendly, mobile lifestyle by supplying our Shopper® as a bicycle trailer. Our specially developed coupling system, made up of a coupling and a pin, make connection and disconnection a breeze. Compared to traditional cargo bikes, the Shopper® offers far greater convenience.

The Bike Cargo Trailer allows for flexible transportation, leaving the cargo carrier free for child seats or bike bags. Its removable bag and wheels make storage convenient when not in use.

Two components for attachment to the bicycle

The coupling systems are designed to fit as many bicycle types as possible. To attach the shopper to the bicycle, two components are needed:

Royal Frame

Like a Royal. The Royal Shopper with ball-bearing whisper wheels runs smoothly and quietly on any surface. Even cobblestones or forest paths are no problem for the Royal Shopper shopping trolley. The Royal Shopper is made of sturdy and high-quality aluminium, but is still light with a tare weight of 2.6 kg. The robust Royal Shopper with ball-bearing whisper wheels can be loaded with a total of up to 50 kg. The shopping trolley bags are easily removable on the Royal Shopper with ball-bearing whisper wheels. At the bottom of the Royal Shopper frame, the handle can be folded out even further and thus increasing the support surface. This means that even larger purchases or heavy loads such as crates of drinks are no problem for the Royal Shopper. In this way, the Royal Shopper transforms from a normal shopping trolley into a comfortable cargo trolley.

Thanks to the practical HängFix device, the Royal Shopper with ball-bearing whisper wheels can be attached to most shopping trolleys. This leaves your hands free when shopping in the supermarket and the Shopper® is still in view.

The Royal Shopper with ball-bearing whisper wheels can also be coupled to a bicycle with the help of the specially developed Bike&Easy coupling system and thus provides even more flexibility in everyday life as an Andersen Shopper® on a bicycle. As a bicycle Shopper®, the Royal Shopper is a good alternative to bicycle bags or cargo bikes. In addition, the luggage rack remains free for other bags or child seats. When the Royal Shopper is not in use, it can be folded up in a few easy steps thanks to the fold-down handle and the removable ball-bearing whisper wheels, and can be stored in even the smallest corner.

Eco Silja

The Shopper® bag Silja from Andersen Shopper Manufaktur and Handed By embodies the idea of sustainability in every aspect. This spacious bag, with a capacity of 53 litres, is hand-woven from recycled plastic, giving used materials a new life and conserving our natural resources. The bag is designed with a modern roll-top closure, making it easy to fill and adjust the volume. An inside pocket offers additional storage space for small items. The bag comes in trendy vintage colours and is water-repellent, perfect for bulk shopping, beach trips or picnics with friends in the park. SHIPPING

We offer Free Shipping on all our products for UK mainland

We do our best to have your order shipped within 2 (two) to 5 (five) business days from the date of your order. Please note some of our products are custom made or sourced from mainland Europe and some delivery times frames may be between 3 (three) and twelve (12) working days. We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out.

We endeavour to have your order delivered in the shortest amount of time possible. Express delivery for the next day or within 48 hours is available in certain instances at an extra cost. Please email support@hitchabike.co.uk for an accurate quote.

If, due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, a product becomes out of stock after an order has been placed, the customer will be notified by email and given an option to cancel the order and receive a full refund.

The customer should be aware that if an order consists of more than one product, these products may be delivered separately. In these cases, the customer will accept part delivery of an order.

RETURNS

Cancellations & Refunds

Should you wish to return or cancel a product, you (the buyer) should first email us at support@hitchabike.co.uk stating the order number and reason for return. You will then be provided with the correct physical return address. You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the order.

If your order has been shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order. The refund will be issued to the customer within 14 days of receipt of the product. Refunds on returns will only be accepted if the customer returns the product in its original packaging, unused, with all labels intact and any documentation that comes with the item.

Please note some of our featured products are shipped from various countries in the EU. These items have limited return policies. In some cases, an item may only be returned if it was received in a damaged condition. You (the buyer) will incur all costs related to the return shipping of these items.

You (the buyer) will be responsible for the safe return of any product as well as to ensure the correct postal insurance to cover the value of the product. A refund will not be issued for a product that does not reach the correct delivery address.

If you have ordered an incorrect-sized item then please contact us as soon as possible and we can amend the product size for you before the item is dispatched.

Damages

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery. If your item(s) do arrive damaged, please send photos to support@hitchabike.co.uk and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf. Kindly note if you would like to process any claims post-delivery on faulty products, we will be happy to assist. We will require protocol evidence in the form of photos and video demonstrating the fault which may include product details.
